Apples, Apples, Everywhere!

 Oh my lord ya'll.....we love apples! Anything apples!  We did a 2 week Science unit on apples and boy was it fun!  We learned about the life cycle, the parts of an apple, we made apple pie, homemade applesauce, had an apple taste test, and we got to eat a LOT of yummy apple snacks at our apple party! I just love a reason to throw a themed party! Oh- and somewhere in there we also learned about Johnny Appleseed aka John Chapman!  

                                   

Kiawah Field Trip - Better Late than Never

Sorry this has taken me a couple weeks!  I actually have SO much I would love to post but I just don't seem to have the time to blog...imagine that.  But I at least wanted to do a HUGE photo dump of our 1st field trip to Kiawah Island!  It was AWESOME!!!!!   I'm not sure which was my favorite part but the children and I had a blast!  Thank you to EVERYONE that went along and helped!  It was definitely the smoothest field trip I have ever been apart of and that is because of ya'll!
